Open-faced Smoked Salmon Toasts
Featuring our Perfectly Crafted Rye Bread
Yields 6 Servings
Ingredients:
6 Slices of Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Soft Rye Bread, toasted
1 package of smoked salmon
½ red onion, thinly sliced
2 Roma tomatoes, sliced
½ cucumber, sliced
Black olives, sliced
2 radishes, sliced
1 lemon
Dill, chives and/or green onions, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, thinly sliced
¼ cup carrot, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, carrots, green onion, onion powder, salt, red bell pepper, and black pepper.
Spread cream cheese on toasted Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Soft Rye bread. Layer a few pieces of smoked salmon and squeeze lemon.
Top with tomato, red onion, cucumber, black olives, and radish.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
