Overnight Berry Cheesecake Bake

Yields 4 servings

 

Ingredients

  • 12 Slices Nature's Own Hawaiian Bread

  • 12 oz Cream cheese, room temp

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

  • 10 Eggs

  • 3/4 cup Milk

  • 3/4 cup Half-and-Half

  • 1/3 cup Maple syrup

  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 cups Berries of your choice - slice as needed

  • 1/2 cup Strawberry jam

  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup

 
 

Directions

  1. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.

  2. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in sugar until thoroughly combined.

  4. Beat in 1 egg and lemon juice until thoroughly combined. Set aside.

  5. Whisk together 10 eggs, milk, half-and-half, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Set aside.

  6. Schmear bread with cream cheese mixture. Layer on sliced strawberries. Place another slice of bread on top to create a sandwich. Repeat for all slices of bread.

  7. Cut into cubes and place approximately two-thirds of the sandwich cubes into baking dish.

  8. Top with remaining strawberries and schmear remaining cream cheese mixture over the top.

  9. Place remaining sandwich cubes on top.

  10. Finally, pour egg mixture over the top.

  11. Press down lightly and cover with plastic wrap.

  12. Refrigerate overnight.

  13. Remove from refrigerator and let rest while oven preheats to 350 degrees.

  14. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  15. Remove foil and bake for another 25-35 minutes or until the surface is golden and the center is set.

  16. Serve with maple syrup or additional fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

  17. Strawberry-Maple Syrup:
    Combine equal parts strawberry jam and maple syrup in a saucepan. Heat on medium until the jam has dissolved into the syrup.
