  • Ingredients

  • 12 slices of Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Soft Rye Bread

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 24oz Corned Beef (deli cut thick or homemade)

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • 1 cup Sauerkraut (drained and squeezed)

  • Sandwich Skewers

  • Dressing:

    • ½ cup mayonnaise

    • 2 tablespoons ketchup

    • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish

    • ¼ teaspoon dried onion powder

    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Whole half-sour pickles for garnish

 
 

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and stir. Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside

  2. Heat a pan on medium heat. Butter 8 slices of bread and place 4 buttered side down in the pan. Place cheese on each piece of bread in the pan. Add corned beef on top of the cheese, add dressing, and sauerkraut.

  3. Press another plain slide of bread on each sandwich and repeat corned beef and dressing. Remove from pan.

  4. Place 4 remaining buttered slices into pan (buttered side down) and top with cheese. Once golden brown, remove and top the sandwiches cheese side down.

  5. Place a skewer in two sides and cut it in half.

  6. Garnish with 4 of the whole half-sour pickles.
