Roasted Broccoli Grilled Cheese

featuring Nature's Own Life Honey Wheat Keto Bread

 

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of Nature's Own Life Honey Wheat Keto Bread

  • 1 Cup of broccoli chopped into small pieces

  • 1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

  • pinch of salt and pepper

  • 2 slices of deluxe American cheese

  • 2 Tablespoons of softened butter

  • Recipe makes 2 sandwiches

 
 

Directions:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat until shimmering. Add broccoli and salt and pepper and toss to coat in olive oil

  • Flatten broccoli with a spatula and cook till browned. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside. Wipe out the skillet with a paper towel.

  • Heat skillet on medium heat. Butter all sides of the bread. Place bread in the skillet and add a slice of cheese and roasted broccoli. Top with other slice of buttered bread.

  • Cook under bread is brown and cheese is starting to melt. Flip and brown the other side of the bread.

  • Remove from pan and enjoy.
