Roasted Broccoli Grilled Cheese
featuring Nature's Own Life Honey Wheat Keto Bread
Ingredients
4 slices of Nature's Own Life Honey Wheat Keto Bread
1 Cup of broccoli chopped into small pieces
1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
pinch of salt and pepper
2 slices of deluxe American cheese
2 Tablespoons of softened butter
Recipe makes 2 sandwiches
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat until shimmering. Add broccoli and salt and pepper and toss to coat in olive oil
Flatten broccoli with a spatula and cook till browned. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside. Wipe out the skillet with a paper towel.
Heat skillet on medium heat. Butter all sides of the bread. Place bread in the skillet and add a slice of cheese and roasted broccoli. Top with other slice of buttered bread.
Cook under bread is brown and cheese is starting to melt. Flip and brown the other side of the bread.
Remove from pan and enjoy.
