Nacho Grilled Cheese Open-Faced

featuring Nature’s Own Butterbread

Timing: 10 minutes | Yields 1 servings

 

Ingredients

  • 2 Slice of Nature’s Own Butterbread

  • 2 Slices cheddar cheese

  • 1 Roma tomato chopped

  • 2 Tablespoons of black beans from a can

  • Shredded Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce (ex. Romaine)

  • Pickled Jalapeno slices, optional

 
 

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350

  • Place slices of bread on a sheet pan and top with cheddar cheese

  • Place in the oven and melt the cheese.

  • Turn oven to broil.

  • Remove from oven and top with black beans, jalapenos, and shredded Monterey Jack.

  • Place under broiler until cheese bubbles - about 30 - 45 seconds

  • Remove from oven and top with tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
