Nacho Grilled Cheese Open-Faced
featuring Nature’s Own Butterbread
Timing: 10 minutes | Yields 1 servings
Ingredients
2 Slice of Nature’s Own Butterbread
2 Slices cheddar cheese
1 Roma tomato chopped
2 Tablespoons of black beans from a can
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup shredded lettuce (ex. Romaine)
Pickled Jalapeno slices, optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Place slices of bread on a sheet pan and top with cheddar cheese
Place in the oven and melt the cheese.
Turn oven to broil.
Remove from oven and top with black beans, jalapenos, and shredded Monterey Jack.
Place under broiler until cheese bubbles - about 30 - 45 seconds
Remove from oven and top with tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
