Ingredients

  • 8 Perfectly Crafted Brioche Style Hot Dog Rolls

  • 1 (15-1/2 oz) pkg. refrigerated vanilla pudding cups

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa

  • 3 Tbsp whole milk

  • 1-1/2 cups (about 6oz.) powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp instant coffee

  • 1 cup cool whip (optional)

 
 

Directions

  • Open buns without completely splitting. Using your fingers, hollow out the top half of each bun, creating a small, long cavity to hold the filling. (Discard removed bread.)

  • Mix vanilla pudding and instant coffee till smooth. Fold in cool whip if using.

  • Spoon about 2 tablespoons pudding into each hollowed top bun half; close buns to seal pudding inside. Arrange buns on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium; whisk in cocoa and milk until smooth. Remove from heat; gradually whisk in powdered sugar until smooth. Let cool for about 5 - 10 minutes. Spoon mixture evenly over buns, allowing some sauce to drip down sides of buns.
