Taco Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup refried beans

  • 1/2 cup salsa

  • 1 pkg. Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Artisan Flats (4 ct)

  • 8 ounces lean ground beef or ground turkey

  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

  • 4 ounces shredded Colby-Jack cheese (1 cup)

  • 4 tablespoons sliced black olives

  • 4 tablespoons sliced green onions

 
 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. In a small bowl combine refried beans and 1/4 cup salsa. Place Artisan Flats on a baking sheet* and spread with beans. In a small skillet, cook and crumble ground meat. When meat is browned (about 5 minutes), sprinkle with taco seasoning and finish cooking meat, about 3 to 5 minutes more. Drain grease. Spoon meat mixture over refried beans. Top with cheese, olives, green onions, and remaining salsa.

  2. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese has melted and crust is browning in places.

    Variation:  Use 1 cup cooked chopped chicken mixed with taco seasoning for meat, if desired.

    Tip:  *To make clean up easier, line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
