Ingredients

  • 4 Perfectly Crafted Brioche Style Hot dog Buns

    1. 4 large beef frankfurters

    2. 4 slices of bacon 

    3. 1/2 cup of arugula, rinsed

    4. 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced 

    5. 1/4 cup mayonnaise 

    6. 1 clove of garlic, minced

    7. 1 tsp lemon juice

    8. 1/8 tsp Dijon mustard

    9. Salt and pepper to taste

    10. Butter

 
 

Directions

Cook bacon until crisps.

While bacon is cooking, in a small bowl stir together mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Dijon mustard until combined to make garlic mayonnaise mixture.

Once the bacon is done, wipe pan, add the butter, and heat until foamy. In shifts, toast buns and grill hot dogs in the pan. Add more butter each time you add new hot dogs and buns. Allow buns to form a nice brown crust.

Place hot dogs in toasted buns. Spoon some of the garlic mayonnaise mixture onto each hot dog and top with sliced onions and arugula.
