Watching your carb intake because of weight or health? Then Nature’s Own Wheat ‘n Fiber bread is for you. Each slice contains only 9 grams of carbohydrates per slice. (A slice of regular wheat bread contains about 12 grams.) Wheat ‘n Fiber also is a good source of fiber.

A Message to Our Wheat ‘n Fiber Fans: We have had to change the recipe for our Wheat ‘n Fiber bread because of the inconsistent availability of one of its key ingredients.

Our new recipe for Wheat ‘n Fiber yields a bread with the same taste and texture, but with 9 grams of carbohydrates per slice, rather than 7 grams. This is still lower than a slice of regular wheat bread, which contains 12 grams of carbs per slice. Each slice of Wheat ‘n Fiber bread still has only 60 calories.

We know how important watching carb intake is for you and we regret that we had to reformulate our Wheat ‘n Fiber bread.

Nature's Own is now HFCS-free.
For many years, Nature’s Own has offered a number of breads and buns that did not contain high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). Now, in response to consumer requests, Nature’s Own has removed HFCS from all its bread and bun varieties—including Whitewheat. Look for "No high fructose corn syrup" on the packaging.

While we make every effort to post the most current product nutrition facts and ingredient lists on our Web site, we are still in the process of updating our Nature’s Own and Whitewheat sites to reflect this change. Your best source of product information is what is printed on the package of the bread or buns you purchase.
